I could send you a Falukorv (sausage) and a bucket of Falu color. Don't know how the sausage would hold up in a non refrigerated environment for a week though. Might be worth a try. Or you could go straight for the fermented Baltic herring. That's a classic.
I generally dislike foreign food. Every time I am abroad I miss my ThÃ¼ringer Rostbratwurst, good ground meat and German bread. It's particularly bad in France. I wonder how one can eat those fucking baguettes and croissants and whatnot every fucking day of his life. A week without proper bread is enough to drive me insane.
